Our Shala
Rascals Yoga Kuta Lombok is an intimate shala, nestled in the property of Rascals Kuta Lombok, a boutique accommodation in the town centre of Kuta, Lombok.
Overlooking a 20m pool and surrounded by lush vegetation, our shala maintains a gentle airflow and remains cool and shaded even on the hottest of days.
The shala fits 22 yoga mats comfortably and has surround sound (bluetooth) with high quality speakers to immerse our students in the experience of the class.
We provide mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, face towels which are maintained & cleaned daily.

We are proud to to able to provide new opportunities for our team so they can grow and develop their lives. Caca (’Cha Cha’), Nurul & Alin help with the classes to develop their skill on their journey to becoming teachers.

Community Breathwork and MeditationWe invite you to explore the significant advantages of mindfulness and breathwork. By actively and regularly participating in this practice, you can elevate your focus, reduce stress, find and nurture your inner peace. Through patterns of breathing and stillness, this session will deepen your self-awareness, boost resilience and mental clarity. We offer this class for Free, as our Karma class and dedication to this vital element of the pathway of Patanjali’s eight limbs of Yoga.

VinyasaIn our Vinyasa yoga class, we gracefully flow through dynamic sequences, synchronizing breath and movement. The session beginns with a grounding practice and intention setting followed by a vibrant warm-up to prepare the body. The core element is staying connected to a mindful breathing pattern while exploring a diverse range of poses, from sitting or standing postures to playful inversions. We guide you through a well deserved relaxation period to rejuvenate your body and leave the shala energized.

Mobility FlowMobility Yoga classes aims, as the name reveils, on leveling up your flexibility of muscles, tendons, ligament as well as the mobility of joints. By emphasizing core areas of our bodys mobility apparatus such as hips and shoulders, the classes enhance overall movement quality and most important, reduce the risk of injuries or help recover. We modify each class to our students need and recommend it for everyone who is engaging in other sports, such as Surfing, Skating, Padel, Gym etc.

Restorative YinWe invite you to fully unwind by engaging in gentle, long and deep poses that target the body's deep connective tissues. Using supportive props such as bolsters and blocks, you can sink into a deeper state of relaxation, fostering flexibility and releasing accumulated stress. We guide you though a practice aiming to serve as a sanctuary for your everyday life. If you wish for a tranquil space to decompress, rejuvenate, find inner peace or simply restore balance in both body and mind, then this class is for you.

Mobility Yang to YinThis class is a hybrid class starting with elements to work on your mobility and energise your circulation (Yang) and will be completed by deep Yin stretches. Taking the best of both worlds, we will integrate various mobility movements that target specific body parts with the goal to prepare them to open up even deeper in the second half of the practice. You will find your muscles even more ready to dive into Yin’s calmness after allowing them to get nourished by an enhanced bloodflow in the first part of the class.

Slow FlowThis class focuses on gentle sequences, always alligning breath and movement. Beginning with grounding practices, the session progresses leisurely with gentle poses at a slower pace to allow you more time to feel into each asana. We invite you to tune in with your body and listen to your rhythm to connect in full awareness of body, mind and soul.

Surf and Ocean Resilience BreathingOf all the Yoga classes we offer in Rascals, this class is different. It is a breath work class geared to survive hold downs and (sometimes scary) wipe outs in surfing. Through awareness of the breath, and mental preparation we build ocean resiliency. If you find yourself stressed in the water or experienced situations that created anxiety towards going back on the board again, then this class is exactly what you need to unlock the clam state of trust to enjoy the forces of the ocean again with new confidence.

All Sports RecoveryRecovery is essential. In this class, we will focus on poses and movements to alleviate body aches and tightness caused by various sports, including surfing, padel, running, and more. You will learn effective recovery methods, aimed at restoring flexibility and promoting overall well-being. Enhancen your recovery routine and ensure your body performs and rests in a harmonious balance. We tailor all classes to your needs.

Ceremonies & Events
We often host sound healing and cacao ceremonies for selected groups or teachers that enquire.
In the evenings past 7pm is an especially beautiful time to host these events with candles and the sounds of nature.
